Hello,

sorry for the lack of updates but I was sick during a long time and after I lost my internet connection. But I have a surprise for you, I want to say to you that soon Amanda Essence and Amanda Online will be one site all together. In that way we can improve the content and be the largest online fansite of Amanda Peet. We will put the new version next week. So don’t forget to check it out.

Amanda says sorry

On Tuesday, Katharine Mieszkowski wrote about the conflict between Amanda Peet and Jenny McCarthy over childhood vaccinations, quoting Peet’s inflammatory comment to Cookie magazine: “Frankly, I feel that parents who don’t vaccinate their children are parasites.”

Today, Peet issued an apology on Cookie’s Web site, admitting that she regrets her choice of words but elaborating on the point behind them.

“I believe in my heart that my use of the word “parasites” was mean and divisive … For this I am truly sorry,” she writes. â€�However, I still believe that the decision not to vaccinate our children bodes for a dangerous future. Vast reductions in immunization will lead to a resurgence of deadly viruses. This is as indisputable as global warming.” Whoa! “…as indisputable as global warming.”

Amanda Peet covers Cookie Magazine

Hey,
COOKIE magazine’s August 2008 issue has Amanda Peet on the cover with her daughter. Peet talks about the very controversial hot-button topic of child vaccinations. Many celebrities have come out against these vaccines (Holly Robinson Peete, Jenny McCarthy, etc.) and Peet is very much the opposite in support of them.
